Vacancy for Teaching Partners

Role title: Teaching Partner (3 roles available)

Contract: fixed-term (12 months from September 2026 until August 2027), term time only (38 weeks per year)

Hours: Full-time - 31.25 hours per week (comprised of 28.75 hours as Teaching Partner plus 2.5 hours per week as Midday Supervisor) - job shares will be considered

Salary is pro rata and paid according to the NJC salary scale at the following rates:

Teaching Partner - Grade 4, point 7-10 (depending on experience) - FTE £25,989-27,694

Midday Supervisor - Grade 2, point 3 - FTE £24,796

We are looking for candidates who:

· Have a minimum of one year’s experience working in a classroom, supporting teaching and learning.

· Have experience of scaffolding learning for all children, particularly vulnerable learners.

· Can form positive and caring relationships with all children and work effectively as a member of a strong team.

· Motivate our young children to be increasingly independent and confident as they learn and grow.

· Show initiative and the ability to be flexible.

· Have a passion for the indoor and outdoor learning environments.

· Are aware of the EYFS framework and the importance of assessment in informing future teaching and learning.

· Are a good team player who is willing to contribute to the ethos and wider community of the school.

· Possess excellent subject knowledge of early phonics, reading, writing and numeracy.

· Have a sense of humour, combined with energy and enthusiasm.

· Share our commitment to high quality CPD and personal improvement.

Vacancy for Governance Professional

Post title: Governance Professional (Clerk to the Governors)

Contract: Permanent, term time only (38 weeks per year)

Hours: Part-time, 6 per week – flexible and remote working encouraged

Salary: Grade 5, point 11-14 (depending on experience) FTE salary is £28,142-£29,540

We are looking to appoint a Governance Professional to act as Clerk to the Governors and to advise the Board on all aspects of governance. The successful candidate will:

· Be responsible for preparing all Board and Committee meetings and minuting them accurately

· Have a good understanding of school governance

· Be able to work flexibly, adapting working hours to attend all Board and Committee meetings, and other activities as required by the Board

· Be a good communicator, ensuring all Governors are kept informed and equipped to perform their duties
