Our prime task is to ensure that all at Kindergarten are happy and secure. We place importance on the relationship that we enjoy with the children and their parents.
We endeavour to provide a warm, welcoming atmosphere where the children are valued and listened to. We believe that each child has a unique view of the world and we aim to provide a personalised learning experience. Our role is to foster the skills of the children in our care to enable them to achieve, develop and to learn from their mistakes. We provide an inclusive learning environment for all children with additional learning needs as well as the able, gifted and talented.
We enjoy a very close liaison with the reception team at the school; we share the school site and participate in most school activities and events. For the children at the Kindergarten who go on to get places at the Infants’ School we join with the reception team to enhance transition.
However, coming to Kindergarten does not commit children to attending the Infants’ School or automatically guarantee them a place.
