We value our outdoor space and the children are involved in Forest School activities on and off-site.

Treecreepers and Charlton Kings Infants' School
We at Treecreepers think the provision at Charlton King's Infants school is a model of good practice and co-operation.
The school is aware of the tensions between the demands for rapid academic achievment and the overall developmental needs of children. Subsequently for several years they have invested in programmes to increase confidence, resilience and wellbeing for many of their pupils with great results. The school is very supportive of Treecreepers' provision that engages children with exciting challenges but also allows for important unstructured play and chances to revisit and repeat activities and projects. We think the school should be held up as a model of good practice in how a school can embrace and encourage learning in a wider sense and understands the benefits of woodland learning.
Children are monitored and recorded whilst at Treecreepers and there is evidence to support progression in the areas of resilience, independence and confidence.
